Frequently asked questions

What is PokéBible?

A tracker for Pokémon TCG collectors. Catalog every card you own, see daily-refreshed prices from TCGPlayer, Cardmarket and eBay, watch your portfolio's P&L over time, get price alerts. Free on the web and iOS; Pro adds the insight layer (cost basis, allocation, unlimited alerts, CSV export).

How does Pro pricing work?

€24/year (≈ €2/month, billed annually) or €2.99/month if you prefer monthly billing. No contract, cancel anytime from Settings → Manage Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep Pro until then. EU VAT is added at checkout per Stripe Tax.

Why is my collection capped at 151 cards on Free?

151 is the original Kanto Pokédex — finishing the first 151 is a satisfying milestone, and a natural moment to decide if Pro is for you. Each card counts once regardless of language, variant, condition, or quantity, so a Charizard in 5 languages is still 1 of 151. Pro removes the cap entirely.

If you already had more than 151 cards when this limit shipped, your collection is preserved as-is — only new unique cards are blocked until you're back under 151 or you upgrade.

Where do prices come from? How often do they update?

TCGPlayer (US market) and Cardmarket (EU, with per-language breakdowns for FR/DE/ES/IT) for raw cards; eBay sold-listing medians for graded copies (PSA, BGS, CGC, etc.). Prices refresh daily; the snapshot timestamp is shown on each card's detail page.

Where is my data stored?

On Neon Postgres in Frankfurt, EU. Card images on Cloudflare R2. Authentication via passwordless email magic-link (no passwords stored). Full details in our Privacy Policy.

Is there an iOS app?

Yes — PokéBible is available on the App Store. Same account, same data, same Pro features. (Free's 151-card cap and 5-alert cap apply to both the web and iOS — the plan is per-user, not per-device.)

How do refunds work?

If you're unhappy in the first 14 days of a new subscription, email us at pierre@pokebible.app and we'll issue a full refund — no questions asked. After 14 days, refunds aren't automatic, but we still consider them case-by-case if something's gone wrong.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → Delete my account. We immediately delete your collection, wishlist, alerts and activity log, and queue your user record for permanent deletion within 30 days (GDPR Article 17 right of erasure). Active subscriptions are canceled in the same step.

Bug? Missing card? Feature request?

Email pierre@pokebible.app. For missing cards, include the set name + card number; for bugs, the browser and the URL. Feature requests are very welcome — most of PokéBible's roadmap comes from user mail.
