Terms
Last updated: May 16, 2026
By using PokeBible (the service at pokebible.app), you agree to these terms. They're written in plain language and kept deliberately short. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
The service
PokeBible is a personal Pokémon TCG collection tracker and price aggregator. The service is provided as is and may change, break, or be retired at any time without notice. It's currently free; if that changes you'll be told in advance.
Your account
- You sign in with a one-time email link. There's no password to forget or share.
- You're responsible for the email account tied to your PokeBible account — anyone with access to your inbox can sign in.
- One account per person. Don't share accounts, automate sign-in, or pretend to be someone else.
- You can close your account at any time by emailing pierre@pokebible.app. Your data is deleted (see the Privacy page).
Acceptable use
The product is for personal collection-tracking. Don't:
- scrape, mirror, or rehost our data;
- attack the service (rate-limit abuse, vulnerability exploitation, denial-of-service, credential stuffing);
- use the service to harass other users or send spam;
- try to extract pricing data in bulk for commercial resale or to operate a competing product.
Reasonable manual use (browsing the catalog, tracking your own collection, exporting your own data) is welcome and explicitly fine.
Your content
The cards you add, notes you write, alerts you set — that content stays yours. You grant us the limited right to store it, display it back to you, and process it to make the product work. We never sell it, never show it publicly, and we delete it when you delete your account.
Prices, marketplaces, and accuracy
PokeBible aggregates prices daily from public marketplace APIs and sitemaps (TCGPlayer, Cardmarket, eBay, gradedcardcenter.com, and others). We make a good-faith effort to clean obvious errors — for example, graded slabs mis-listed as Near Mint — but:
- Prices are informational. They are not buy or sell quotes. The actual price you'll pay or receive on any marketplace is whatever that marketplace shows you at the moment of the transaction.
- Data can be stale, wrong, or missing. A card with no recent trades has no reliable price. Cardmarket, in particular, occasionally mis-categorises listings; we filter what we can detect.
- Portfolio values are estimates for your personal tracking. They aren't an offer to buy your collection at that price.
Don't make financial decisions solely on PokeBible's prices. Cross-check at the marketplace you're actually transacting on.
Third-party links
We link out to TCGPlayer, Cardmarket, eBay, and others so you can complete a purchase. Some of those links are affiliate links — if you buy through them, we may earn a small commission at no cost to you. The third party's own terms apply once you click through.
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent allowed by law:
- The service is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
- We aren't liable for losses arising from acting on price data, marketplace outages, third-party content, downtime, or data loss.
- Total liability for any claim related to the service is capped at €0 (the service is free; we accept no payment from you).
Trademarks and Pokémon
Pokémon, the Pokémon TCG, set names, character names, and card imagery are trademarks and copyrights of Nintendo, Creatures Inc., Game Freak Inc., and The Pokémon Company. PokeBible is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of them. We use these names and images solely to describe the cards you collect; all rights to the underlying material remain with their owners. If you're a rights-holder and have a concern, email us and we'll respond promptly.
Termination
We can suspend or close an account that violates these terms, attacks the service, or risks legal liability for the operator. We'll usually warn you first; we may not in cases of active abuse.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes get a notification email to active account holders and a fresh "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use after the change means you accept it. If you don't, close your account.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of France. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of France, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country says otherwise.
